Historic Pamphlet!

A project started in 2023, Past AAWS President of the Board, Margaret Webster-Shapiro compiled our historical documents and passed them to the Central Library in Downtown Winston-Salem for safekeeping in the North Carolina Collection Room. In the digital Pamphlet below, we compiled some highlights from the archives for a quick, but informative look at our illustrious history. This digital pamphlet was presented in print form along with historical documentation at the Central Library for the "Color Our World" Summer Program in the summer of 2025.

Likely, there is information missing! If you have any tidbits or pieces of our history, we want to hear from you! Please reach out to us via email at info@associatedartists.org

Click on the right side of the digital booklet, or use the cursors on mobile to begin exploring our history!
