Art Exhibits Winston-Salem Community
Associated Artists of Winston-Salem’s mission is to give visual artists an opportunity to exhibit their work. All members of Associated Artist of Winston-Salem are invited to exhibit their artwork through our Community Exhibit Program.
Currently we have 14 businesses where member artists’ work is presented on a quarterly rotation for most locations, with many locations exhibiting multiple artists at a time. The exchange of artists usually occurs at the beginning of the months of February, May, August, and November. The selection of artists is generally based on first response to a location; however, some of our locations require curation specific to the vibe of the local, as well as consideration of the location’s particular needs. The Community Exhibition program coordinator is responsible for matching the artists with the best locations. If you are interested in participating in AAWS Community Exhibition Program, please contact Kimberly Varnadoe at kimberly@associatedartists.org with sample images of your work. You will then receive more details about your responsibilities as a Community Exhibitor and be added to the list of members that receive notification about upcoming opportunities through the Program.
