President’s Letter, September 2024
I don’t know about you, but summer is my rejuvenation time! Warm, sunny, and full of colorful sights, it’s time to reflect on the beauty surrounding us, to travel, visit family and relax.
And as Summer morphs into Autumn, we're excited to plan new exhibit spaces, line up instructors for exciting, fresh workshops, and arrange some lighthearted, fun exploration activities! As a group of artists, it’s so much fun for us to get together to plan, plot and create rewarding programs that we can offer to our membership. But, I have to ask, "are our ideas, your ideas?" We want to know, "are we hitting the mark?"
This is why I'd like to invite you to join our team of interesting and creative individuals, those who help guide and steer this amazing organization. As the new term started, several of our Board Members' rotated out and we have spots to fill. Do you see yourself contributing to our growth and development? If yes, we want to hear from you! Please, email director@associatedartists.org with your interest and we’ll happily answer any questions you may have.
Too much responsibility? Then I invite you to join one of our planning teams. Help us develop interesting programs/events, play dates, socials, community collaborations, and more. Bring your excitement, enthusiasm, and experience and share in building something great!
