This is a long one, y'all! We've put just about everything we have for the rest of the year in this newsletter. It's that season!

  • Anything Goes Exhibition
  • Artist Spotlight Reception
  • Exhibition Committee
  • Holiday Wreath Making Class
  • Associated Artists Holiday Party and Ornament Trade
  • November Artist Spotlight
  • Community Announcements, including an opportunity to show at Florence Thomas Art School

Our Last Call for Art this Year:

Anything Goes! Brush off those pieces that haven't fit into any theme this year and enter them for our final show at the Associated Artists Gallery in Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts!

The Secret Ingredient, Vicki Schober

Enter the Show!

Don't forget that the Artist Spotlight Reception is TOMORROW on November 8th at Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts!

The guest judge, Addren Doss, will award prizes, there will be music by the jazz band Ethernaut, and an open bar with light refreshments! It's going to be a blast and it's completely free.

RSVP to this FREE Event

Please note, RSVPs are NOT required. We've gotten a lot of questions about this. Only encouraged for records and a head count!

We're looking for people who want to join the Associated Artists Exhibition Committee!

We are planning the exhibitions for 2025 and need input! Want to have a voice in our Exhibtion themes, timeline, and more? Join the Committee today! We will have an initial meeting very soon. Email camryn@associatedartists.org or susan@associatedartists.org to join the group!

Now that Halloween has passed, are you ready to get into the Holiday Spirit? Join us for a Holiday Wreath Making Workshop!

President of AAWS, Susan Powers, will teach us how to decorate an 18" grapevine wreath on November 16th! You'll walk away from this class with a fully-designed wreath and various bow-making skills for presents, other wreaths, the tree, and more!

Register!

We will be having a casual Holiday Party on December 15th at our normal Artist Meet-Up location, Broad Branch Distillery!

Instead of Artist Trading Cards, this time we'll be doing Artist Trading Ornaments! You have full jurisdiction to represent your art in any way - except it has to be on an ornament and you have to be willing to trade!

We will also do a short presentation on our year, give out silly awards, and have fun in the Spirit of the Holiday's! We hope to see you there!

 NOVEMBER ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

Our November Artist Spotlight this year is actually 11 people - it's the folks that were juried into the Artist Spotlight Exhibition! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the blog AND the show except to connect them together. Congratulations, again, to our spotlighted artists this year.
