About Holiday Arts Festival
Join us by attending and/or donating to our Holiday Arts Festival fundraiser at Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts on November 20, 12-5pm! We’ll have a live, on-line auction, 24 unique vendors, selling handcrafted items as well as our Art Work Sale, just in time for holiday shopping. Enjoy Sweet Treats made by some of our local area businesses as you stroll through our market place, do a little Christmas shopping, while conveniently bidding on some of your favorite auction items. Artwork by AAWS Artists will be on display throughout the venue with “Artists Spotlight 2022” being shown in the “Main Gallery” and “Nostalgia” on exhibit in “Every Corner Gallery”.
Vendors Wanted!
Associated Artists is looking for Vendors to participate in the Holiday Art Festival fundraiser. There are a limited number of opportunities available. Applications will be taken and 24 uniquely diverse vendors will then be selected to represent a variety of fine hand crafted items. Each Vendor will be asked to donate to our silent auction an item, of a suggested, $50 or higher value. Table fees will be $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Please submit your request to be a Vendor to Susan@asssociatedartist.org. or call/text, 757-756-6740.
Auction Items Needed!
We are planning an interactive, live, online auction! Auction items will be on display during the event and bidding will take place through through our on-line auction page at CharityAuctionstoday.com. (Volunteers will be available for assistance and to answer any questions about bidding so don’t worry, we have you covered!) Auction will open for bidding one week prior to the event. We are asking everyone for their help in gathering donations for the auction.
Donated items are needed by November 1st.
- Donation letter explaining our fundraiser, to present to the business
- Silent auction donation form
- Food Item donation form
When deciding who to ask for a donation think of what items you would like to see in the auction. Local or new businesses, friends and family who own businesses are good places to start. Businesses you frequent often or businesses who’s products are unique or interesting. Gift cards are great too!
Examples: Baskets we could assemble with donated items, think-Pet lovers, Night out for two, Spa day, Bakers, Readers, Breakfast lovers, Auto detailing, you get the idea!
Contact susan@associatedartists.org, call/text 757-756-6740 to coordinate collection of donated items.
Donate to our Artwork Sale!
A great way for AAWS to raise money is through the sale of Artwork. We are asking everyone, member and non-member Artists, quality artwork to be sold at our fundraiser. Donated artwork must be wired to hang, framed if applicable and canvases must be dry. Please add a suggested value for each donation.
100% of the funds raised from the sale of donated artwork will be used to help AAWS support artists in our community through programing and educational events.
Donations needed by Nov 1st. *Some donated artwork may be selected to be added to the auction.
Please note: If your donated artwork does not sell during the event, please pick it up at the end of the event! If you are unable to be present at the end of the event, you will have 3 days in which to coordinate pick up of your piece/pieces, after that all unclaimed pieces will be disposed of at the discretion of a AAWS.
